How You Contribute

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, powder coat equipment, rollers, benders, presses, CNC equipment, and other production machinery.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify electrical components and systems.

• Troubleshoot and support robotic systems, production fixtures, servo systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and support production needs.

• Support the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of preventive maintenance programs for facilities and production equipment.

• Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and production teams on equipment adjustments, maintenance, repairs, and improvements.

• Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend practical solutions that improve safety, reliability, and performance.

• Ensure necessary materials, parts, tools, and supplies are available to complete maintenance work and projects.

• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to support maintenance, repair, and facility needs.

• Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and applicable OSHA/MIOSHA requirements.

• Support equipment installations, modifications, and other maintenance or facility projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification/card in Industrial Maintenance or a related skilled trade is required.

• Experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Working knowledge of production machinery, including equipment such as CNC machines, servo systems, hydraulic systems, and automated equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, machine prints, and technical documentation.

• Experience troubleshooting electrical components and machine control systems.

• Working knowledge of facility operating systems, including electrical and HVAC systems.

• Understanding of OSHA/MIOSHA requirements related to industrial equipment, machine operation, and maintenance safety.

• Ability to use basic computer systems and applications necessary to document and support

• Use strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and make safe, sustainable repairs.

• Balance reactive maintenance needs with preventive maintenance and longer-term improvement work.

• Communicate equipment status, repair needs, and potential concerns clearly with production, engineering, and other partners.

• Understand the needs of internal customers and provide responsive, positive technical support.

• Take ownership of work and follow projects and repairs through to completion.

• Look for opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, efficiency, and maintenance processes.

• Contribute positively to the team while knowing when to involve additional resources or expertise.

We’re looking for an Industrial Maintenance Journeyman who enjoys solving problems, troubleshooting complex equipment, and finding ways to keep operations running at their best.

This role supports both production equipment and facility systems, working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and production teams to diagnose issues, complete repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.

The primary schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Hours may flex based on production and project needs, and overtime may be required on Mondays and/or weekends.
