About the Position
Harris Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse III (Nurse Clinician III) to join the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital for full-time night shifts.
In this advanced nursing role, you will provide high-level patient care while demonstrating clinical leadership, critical thinking, and specialized nursing expertise. The Nurse Clinician III independently manages complex patient cases, applies evidence-based clinical practices, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in a critical care environment.
This role also requires leadership experience and active participation in professional nursing development initiatives.

Requirements
• Education:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingBSN preferred
• Licensure/Certification:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of TexasBasic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or Red Cross approved programSpecialty nursing certification required
