About Us
The human brain is the most complex object in the universe, yet society has accepted one-size-fits all approaches to cognition. The "solutions" (think coffee, energy drinks, and even a friend's rx) were mediocre at best and frankly, made no sense to us. So, we created Thesis, the world's first customized nootropics company. If you've never heard that word before, it's just a fancy way of saying brain supplements. In five years, most will be taking nootropics on the daily and chances are, they'll be ours.
With an exceptional efficacy rate, the world has taken notice — we've raised over $13M in venture capital, garnered interest from leading neuroscientists and athletes, and established ourselves as the industry's leading brand. Now, we're looking for incredible people to help us share the gift of enhanced cognitive function with the world. If you're looking to be a part of a movement — one that involves both immense self-growth and an ambitious mission to pioneer an industry — we'd love to have you on the team.
About The Role
Our site is our storefront, our salesperson, and our most important brand asset. This is the person who will own the visual identity of that world.
This is first and foremost a digital product design role for someone who likes to see an idea all the way through, from the first concept to the version that goes live. You'd take work from wireframe to full-fidelity, on-brand execution, and use AI tooling to help get it shipped. Experience in ecommerce, direct response, and CRO matters here, particularly building landing pages, checkouts, and commerce-driven UX. Ideally you have real design chops and a point of view on typography, hierarchy, and brand systems, plus a marketer's instinct for what converts. You're as excited talking about a wordmark's clear space as you are about a hypothesis of why a test did or didn't win.
Our brand foundations already exist, so this isn't a reinvention project. It's about extending and applying them with precision and speed across every digital surface: landing pages, PDPs, quiz and onboarding flows, and the design system underneath it all. You'd be the primary thought partner to our Digital Product Manager, and together you'd own both how the work looks and how it performs. Working together you are the conversion layer to the business.
We're also an AI-forward company, and AI fluency genuinely matters in this role. Our team builds custom AI tools for QA, analysis, and reporting, and we'd love a design partner with that same instinct: building interactive prototypes with AI tools instead of relying only on static comps, exploring concept directions in hours instead of days, and knowing where generated output still needs a human hand. Our brands live on craft and our category is regulated, so taste and judgment matter as much as speed.
How You'll Make an Impact:
• Own design end to end across Stasis and Thesis digital surfaces, from wireframe through production-ready design, developer handoff, and launch QA.
• Partner with our Digital Product Manager to co-own the CRO and experimentation program, from hypothesis and variant through design, launch planning, QA, and readout.
• Translate our brand identity into digital execution, and build the design system that makes every future page faster and more consistent to ship.
• Design direct response assets that convert, including advertorials, landing pages, offer and pricing modules, and quiz flows, with a clear grasp of the funnel each one serves.
• Turn clinical results, ingredient mechanisms, and study data into charts, comparisons, and infographics that are accurate, on-brand, and persuasive at a glance.
• Use data as a design input. Session recordings, heatmaps, and test results are where the best hypotheses tend to come from, and we'd love for you to bring your own.
• Help shape how our team uses AI in creative and technical work, sharing tools and workflows with the rest of marketing, including a clear eye for where AI isn't the right answer.
We're Excited About Your:
• 6+ years designing digital product or ecommerce experiences, with real DTC time. You've had genuine ownership of a site, and your portfolio speaks to both halves of this job: visual craft you're proud of and conversion results you can point to.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design craft. You bring a strong point of view on typography, hierarchy, brand systems, and commerce UX, and you can carry that craft from early concepts through production-ready designs.
• Talent for data and science translation. You know how to make science sell. Clinical data, ingredient breakdowns, and competitor comparisons become visuals that build trust and help close the sale.
• Direct response instinct. You've run or heavily contributed to a CRO program, and you can walk us through tests you designed, the thinking behind them, and what you took away from the ones that didn't win.
• AI fluency in practice. Tools like Claude, Figma AI, Lovable, Replit, or Midjourney are already a normal part of how you work, and you can point to specific work AI made faster or made possible at all.
Nice to Have:
• Technical fluency. You can collaborate effectively with developers and use AI-assisted tools to create interactive prototypes; hands-on coding is not expected.
• You're curious about the science. You don't need a neuroscience background, but you'll want to understand the mechanism before you design the chart.
• You hold your opinions strongly and loosely at the same time. You'll make the case for a design decision, and you'll let the data change your mind.
• You get genuinely interested in the person on the other side of the screen, and you'd rather earn their trust than win their click.
• You like being the one who figures out the new tool first, then shows everyone else how to use it.
• You'd rather ship something good this week than something perfect next quarter, and you know which situations call for which.
• You've worked with an experimentation platform such as Shoplift, Growthbook, or Shopify Tests.
• You've built and stewarded a design system or component library in a fast-moving environment.
• You've designed in a regulated, science-forward category like supplements or health, where claims-bound copy and required disclosures need to feel intentional rather than bolted on.
• You bring motion and micro-interaction design, or art direction for photo and video.
