We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team in Danville, United States. Based at our location on 714 N Gilbert St, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. This role is essential to our operations, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering excellence on every route.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
• Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily delivery targets
• Load, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights with care and attention
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and package documentation
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during all customer interactions
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or vehicle damage promptly
• Navigate using GPS systems and maps to locate delivery addresses accurately
• Meet strict delivery schedules and time management requirements
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related issues professionally
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating delivery vehicles or commercial vehicles
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Physical capability to perform repetitive lifting and loading tasks
• Knowledge of local Danville area roads and neighborhoods (preferred)
• Previous delivery, logistics, or transportation experience (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
