The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for internal and external enablement needed to drive commercial success of assigned portfolio. This person builds GTM strategies, package variations (or bundles) that solve customer needs and articulate customer outcomes. They monitor bookings and renewal KPIs, diagnose reasons for success or lack thereof, and refine enablement assets. They work cross-functionally to create go-to-market strategies and plans to drive bookings and renewals goals for their assigned portfolio.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Responsible for relevant porfolio understanding including industry trends, competitior trends, customer profiles and buyer personas
• Uses Market Research and Intel work as well as direct interaction with the market and buyers (e.g. conferences and trade shows)
• Connects with client-facing colleagues and effectively uses internal data sources to supplement understanding
• Listen and synthesize insights about client-facing messaging effectiveness applying changes to enablement as necessary and surfacing customer perspective insights
• Engages in customer advisory and feedback intiatives
• Responsible for understanding how products and services are performing in market, monitoring trends, understanding product competition, leveraging feedback to build necessary enablement assets especially as market needs or audiences shift
• Maintain close feedback channels with sales and client success to identify future enablement needs and to bring anecdotal data points about product / market fit and market needs to product marketing for consideration
• Evaluates and updates or creates new sales collateral and assets for existing products to support sales pipeline and bookings, and marketing campaigns (e.g., presentations, sales sheets, case studies, video assets, product battlecards)
• Work closely with Growth Marketing and Content Marketing to develop assets to support successful marketing campaigns
• Continuously update Relias.com and other owned website pages to reflect necessary product positioning/strategy to support search, traffic, and lead conversion needs for the product
• Partner with Events to ensure the right messaging strategy and collateral assets are available for trade shows based on relevant audiences for the products
• Builds product and service solution packages that are mapped to customer needs and outcomes
• Stays informed about product enhancement releases via Release Readiness and updates enablement as needed for customer vertical
• Works with pricing team to develop and deploy appropriate package price points
• Develops package collateral and enablement necessary such as messaging, sales sheets, presentation, video assets, case studies
• Other duties as assigned

• Lead projects that support commercialization priorities, customer vertical growth strategies, and go-to-market execution
• Coordinate activities across Product, Sales, Growth Marketing, Client Success, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Drive adoption of product marketing standards, processes, and best practices that improve consistency, scalability, and business outcomes
• Support launch readiness activities, strategic planning efforts, and special initiatives associated with portfolio growth and customer expansion opportunities
• Identify opportunities to improve product marketing effectiveness through automation, process improvements, and enhanced cross-functional collaboration
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years experience in product marketing, marketing, commercialization, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, product management, market intelligence, or related field.
• Experience supporting product launches, positioning, messaging, sales enablement, or commercialization efforts
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer-facing teams
• Experience using business performance metrics, customer feedback, and market insights to drive recommendations and improve outcomes
• Skill in developing customer- and market-informed go-to-market strategies: Leverages industry trends, customer needs, buyer personas, competitive intelligence, product knowledge, and business objectives to develop effective go-to-market approaches that drive bookings, renewals, and customer adoption within assigned verticals.
• Ability to translate customer, market, and product insights into commercially effective enablement: Synthesizes information from customer interactions, advisory boards, sales feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, and product performance data to identify opportunities and refine messaging, positioning, collateral, and commercialization strategies.
• Skill in creating and optimizing sales and marketing enablement assets: Develops, evaluates, and continuously improves collateral, presentations, case studies, battlecards, videos, digital content, and other enablement resources that support pipeline generation, bookings, renewals, customer engagement, and product adoption.
• Ability to assess product, solution, and go-to-market performance and recommend improvements: Monitors bookings, renewal performance, market response, customer feedback, competitive activity, and other relevant indicators to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and recommend actions that improve commercial results and customer outcomes.
• Skill in designing customer-focused solution packages and commercialization strategies: Creates product and service bundles aligned to customer needs, buyer priorities, and desired outcomes. Partners with Product, Pricing, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders to develop differentiated solution offerings, packaging strategies, and supporting enablement materials.
• Ability to lead cross-functional commercialization and go-to-market initiatives: Coordinates activities across Product, Sales, Client Success, Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, Events, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, messaging, launch readiness, and commercial priorities. Influences decisions and drives execution without direct authority.
• Ability to continuously improve product marketing effectiveness through data, feedback, and process optimization: Uses stakeholder feedback, performance metrics, workflow analysis, and automation opportunities to improve the efficiency, scalability, consistency, and business impact of product marketing programs, deliverables, and commercialization efforts
