It will be the responsibility of the position holder to help develop the presence and recognition of Sobi as a credible partner with the Hematology and Immunology community through supporting the development of relationships with key stakeholders, as well as the successful development and delivery of agreed pre and post license marketing projects, with territorial responsibility for Spain. The position holder will also be expected to be able to travel within own country as well as to HQ and international meetings as needed in the line of usual business activities.

Under the direction of the BUD HT-IM the candidate will work with local medical and market access colleagues as well as HQ staff in a cross-functional approach to Sobi’s interactions with key stakeholders  (physicians, nurses, scientific associations, etc.). The role covers the lifecycle management of established brands, as well as preparation for potential launches of pipeline or newly acquired products, subject to company decisions and applicable regulatory and compliance requirement

Main responsibilities:

• country business plan, including any required local strategy or tactical variations and budget.

• Lead the local brand team, respecting the accountabilities of each function.

• Responsible for giving feedback about local commercialization needs and market and competitor perspectives into global strategy development through appropriate channels.

• Drive unbranded (and branded after launch) tactics that are in line with core product messaging and highest standards of compliance; e.g. Internet, social media.

• Lead commercial pre-launch preparation and coordinate cross-functional launch readiness for potential pipeline or acquired products, subject to company decisions.

• Develop strategic communications and/or training materials for internal and external customers on current projects and tactics and working with Medical colleagues ensure the highest level of scientific credibility in all Sobi external communications.

• Lead and organize the country hematology and immunology engagements and involvement in local events and initiatives, working to support the KAM team and the National Sales Manager.

• Work closely with BUD HT- IM local medical and Community Engagement colleagues on Sobi partnership with patient organizations and industry partners, as appropriate.

• Measure value, impact, and return on investment (after launch) of commercial campaigns. Monitor marketing investment efficiency and the quality of analyses.

• Work in tight collaboration to manage and support projects from Headquarters, travelling as needed to ensure alignment, with frequent contact with Global Brand Commercial Lead.

• Take ownership of customer networking and working with the BUD, the National Sales Manager, and the KAM team to manage ongoing key stakeholder relationships on a country scale.

• Collaborate with BUD HT-IM to define and deliver the overall marketing strategy, ensuring local customer needs and market requirements are included in the development of Sobi global strategy.

• Spend time in the field, according to business needs, supporting business activities and interacting with key customers

• Candidates need to be flexible to travel to business meetings at Sobi office facilities on a regular basis and support Sobi activities at National & International conferences

What you bring:

• A university degree, ideally in a medical or science-based field

• At least 3 years of proven pharmaceutical marketing leadership or management experience

• Direct customer relationship management experience, with the ability to engage with customer needs when delivering company projects

• Experience monitoring marketing operating expenditure against agreed targets, and working effectively on competitive intelligence

• A proven ability to work in matrix organizations

• Proven pre-launch and launch experience, including project coordination

• Knowledge of local health systems and their decision-making processes

• The ability to work independently, with strong knowledge of business unit operations and a hands-on approach to delivering marketing projects

• A demonstrated ability to learn a new area and build plans from scratch

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Experience with review and approval systems (e.g., ZINC, Veeva)

• Experience with CRM and digital/multichannel tools

• Use and application of AI through company-approved tools

• A proven track record of success in a cross-functional matrix environment

What will set you apart:

• The ability to apply competitive intelligence learnings to marketing plans, and to develop and execute tactics that address competitive threats

• Product management experience in specialty medicine or rare diseases

• Experience in hematology and/or immunology

• Relevant laboratory or medical experience, or postgraduate qualifications

• Experience working in an international matrix environment with multicultural colleagues

Languages

• Spanish: fluency in written and spoken Spanish

• English: C1 level, with the ability to present and defend plans before international teams
