We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3900 South 7th Street location in Louisville, United States. In this pivotal role, you'll work alongside our Store Manager to drive operational excellence, foster a positive team environment, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our high performance standards while supporting the growth and development of our team members.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve performance goals while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
• Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering processes with analytical precision
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards to create an inviting customer experience
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while managing cash handling and financial record-keeping
• Train and develop new team members through comprehensive onboarding and ongoing skill development
• Support the Store Manager in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Implement and maintain rigorous safety and security procedures to protect team members and customers
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Analyze operational metrics and provide transparent feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the retail or food service industry
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop team members effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
• Strong proficiency in basic mathematics, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
• Proven ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive under pressure
• Strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and secure work environment
• Experience with inventory management and financial reconciliation
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)

•Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 15 people. You will need to use your stellar attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work.
•A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license
