At SentinelOne, we are driven by a clear purpose: to give the advantage to those who secure our future. As AI reshapes how organizations build, operate, and innovate, the responsibility to protect them becomes more critical than ever. When you join SentinelOne, your work helps protect global enterprises, critical infrastructure, and the technologies shaping tomorrow. If you are motivated by meaningful challenges and want your impact to be real, measurable, and global, you will find purpose here.
About Us
SentinelOne is a company at the intersection of AI and security, pioneering a new operating model for cybersecurity. Our AI-native platform unifies protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems to deliver autonomous detection and response with clarity and speed. By combining real-time analytics, intelligent automation, and a unified data foundation, we reduce noise, simplify complexity, and empower security teams to focus on what truly matters.
Our teams are builders, problem-solvers, and innovators committed to shaping the future of security. If you are excited to solve hard problems alongside talented, mission-driven people, we invite you to help us build a safer future for humanity.
What Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for people who are relentlessly curious and committed to continuous learning. AI is reshaping every function across our business, and we enable every team member, regardless of role or level, to build fluency in AI tools and concepts. Those who thrive here actively seek out new solutions, experiment thoughtfully, and apply what they learn to drive better, faster, smarter outcomes.
As an Associate Technical Marketing Manager, you will be tasked with building the technical story that earns SentinelOne attention long before a deal exists, across our market-leading Singularity™ Platform: Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, AI Security, and the Autonomous SOC, and the products behind them, Singularity Endpoint, Singularity Cloud, Singularity Identity, Singularity AI-SIEM, Purple AI, and Prompt Security. Your job is to help make the practitioners and technical influencers who shape buying decisions curious enough to come looking. Storytelling is the core craft, applied two ways: what you write and what you show.
SentinelOne employees work a hybrid 2 days/week in-office schedule in Heredia. Some travel may be required.
What Will You Do?
Primary responsibilities include:
• Own one or two medium-impact projects outright while contributing to several others, creating the demos, content, and technical thought leadership that earn the attention of practitioners early, since they form their views from peers, research, and practitioners they trust long before anyone opens a shortlist.
• Own the technical story while Product Marketing owns the market story (segmentation, positioning strategy, pricing, launch, and the business case); where a PMM writes the message, you build the demo that makes someone want to see it live, write the blog a detection engineer will pick apart, and answer the hard follow-up in the thread underneath.
• Contribute to the technical value proposition for the work you take on, articulating the how and the why behind the product, not only the what; draft and refine technical positioning covering technical benefits, integration capabilities, security features, and performance metrics, and translate it into customer-centric narratives a practitioner recognizes as true.
• Develop technical content including white papers, technical blogs, solution briefs, deployment and integration guides, technical articles, FAQs, and more, making each one an argument a practitioner wants to follow rather than a specification they have to decode; build with reuse in mind so each piece keeps producing after the launch that prompted it, and act on technical review quickly and completely.
• Create the demos and hands-on content that make a practitioner want to go deeper, developing demos, demo scenarios, webinars, and videos end to end, from the environment it runs on through the final edit, standing up whatever environment you need and pressure-testing what you are about to say before it reaches a slide, with a senior teammate available when you hit something new.
• Design realistic attack and threat simulations that bring customer outcomes to life, and help turn public testing such as MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations into content practitioners actually want to read.
• Own the delivery of the projects assigned to you, working to a plan and calendar set with your manager, with named deliverables, real dates, and a current view of who owes what; keep contributors and reviewers moving, escalate when something stalls, land the work on the date you committed to, and bring content performance and field feedback into the conversation about what to make next.
• Work closely with product management, product engineering, detection engineering, threat research, product marketing, sales engineering, and analyst relations, alongside our threat researchers, detection engineers, and platform architects, to stay ahead of what is shipping, why it was built that way, and where adversary tradecraft is moving, building the credibility and relationships that make people who do not report to you want to help.
• Present the work at webinars, user groups, and partner engagements as opportunities come up, and stay active in the communities where security practitioners discuss this technology.
• Bring deployment and evaluation feedback back to product management and engineering, grounded in what you see in labs, proofs of concept and value, and competitive bake-offs.
What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?
Ideal candidates will have:
• Big passion for cybersecurity and for the technology itself, with genuine enjoyment in understanding how a product works under the hood.
• Real technical depth and the hands-on habits that build it, which is the one requirement we do not flex: you stand up your own lab, build your own demo environment, run your own tests, work your way through the detection logic, and hold a technical conversation with detection engineers, threat researchers, and the engineers who built the product.
• Working knowledge of endpoint, cloud, or identity security, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience, or 2 to 4 years of general professional experience; backgrounds in technical marketing, sales engineering, solutions architecture, SOC operations, IT, or technical writing all transfer, and you do not need to have held this title.
• Strong storytelling in both writing and demos, which we screen hardest for: you can carry a technical argument in prose, take an edit without ego, land the same argument live in a demo, and simplify complex technical concepts without flattening them into marketing language, along with developing executive presence.
• Organized by default: you track your own deliverables and dates, keep several threads straight at once, and people hear about a slip from you before they notice it themselves.
• A highly collaborative, low-ego, and easy to work with approach, with proven ability to collaborate and execute as part of a high-functioning team.
• Growth mindset with comfort in experimentation, willing to deviate from standard practice when you have found a better method and able to show your reasoning.
• A track record as a dependable operator who takes a demo or a piece of content from brief to published with light guidance and holds a consistent delivery cadence rather than working in bursts.
• Relentlessness in the face of adversity, staying with a hard problem, adjusting when the evidence says to, and landing the commitment you made, with a positive, problem-solving attitude and willingness to engage, innovate, and help where needed.
