We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Mount Vernon location (805 Salem Rd). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the Mount Vernon area. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to provide exceptional delivery experiences while maintaining efficiency and professionalism on every route.
• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned territories within Mount Vernon and surrounding areas
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation and route optimization tools
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Handle packages with care, maintaining product quality and integrity during transport
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and delivery confirmations
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating a vehicle
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any obstacles encountered
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization professionally at all times
• Meet daily delivery targets and performance goals while maintaining a flexible, can-do attitude
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery operations
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic technology
• Ability to lift and carry packages safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery schedules
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and genuine smile
• Valid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for deliveries
• Preferred: Previous delivery or customer service experience
