Anaconda is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Legal to join the team at the heart of its commercial engine. This role is pivotal in supporting Anaconda’s mission to deliver trusted, enterprise-ready AI solutions to over 50 million users and 95% of the Fortune 500. As Senior Counsel, you will partner directly with enterprise, commercial, and mid-market sales teams to negotiate complex, high-value agreements and develop the playbooks and processes that accelerate future deals.
This position is designed for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to shape the systems that drive commercial success. You will handle a diverse range of legal issues, including open-source and proprietary licensing, data governance, and regulatory compliance, while leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and scale impact across the team. The ideal candidate brings at least 8 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and intellectual property licenses. A proven ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance, build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, and implement scalable legal processes is essential. Experience with AI-driven legal workflows and a proactive, collaborative approach will set you apart.
