Role Purpose
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) will be hosted in dedicated Family Hotels throughout the LA28 Games, and this role establishes how those venues run. Reporting to the Director, Games Family Services Operations, you will own the Olympic and Paralympic Family Hotels (OFH/PFH) as Venue Manager, shaping the plans and partnerships that make them ready. • Serve as venue owner and Venue Manager for the Family Hotels, driving readiness, staffing, timelines, and contingency planning.
• Support hotel and supplier contract negotiations with LA28 Accommodation and Legal, and help hotels adapt to Games operations.
• Collaborate across Accommodation, Transportation, Accreditation, Security, and Logistics as the primary liaison to the IOC and IPC.
• Manage hotel and event operations budgets, reconcile LA28-related invoices, and report progress and risks to leadership.
• Coordinate IOC and IPC Games-time institutional meetings, conferences, and hospitality events hosted at the Family Hotels.
Required Competencies
• 7+ years of experience in an international, large-scale event or multi-sport Games environment, or a related field; hotel or accommodation experience preferred.
• 5+ years of direct people management, including full-time staff, contractors, or large volunteer teams (e.g., 10+ individuals), across cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven delivery of large-scale projects or events from planning through execution, with external stakeholders such as government agencies, sponsors, or partners.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, budgeting, forecasting, tracking, reporting), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word; comfortable presenting in person and online.
• A diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a related field preferred; oral and written fluency in English.
Valued Experience
• Keen understanding of hotel operating systems and accommodation allocation processes.
• Experience training teams and reviewing or negotiating contracts.
• Experience working in multi-lingual settings; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
What We Offer
• Real ownership of the Olympic and Paralympic Family Hotels, with visible impact on the IOC and IPC guest experience.
• Exposure across Games Family Services, functional areas, and partners, with teammates who take pride in meaningful work.
• A once-in-a-generation chance to help deliver the Games, with transferable hospitality experience.
