Position Purpose:
The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives. This role ensures the availability, quality, and reliability of data by integrating diverse sources into secure and optimized data platforms. Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, the Data Engineer enables data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient data flow across the organization.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
• Responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Understand data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud technologies to support scalable and robust data platform.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s degree experience in a related occupation required.
• Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field and 3 years of experience in a related occupation required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• 2 years of experience of development in Python;
• 1 year of experience supporting with production environments in a DevOps environment;
• 2 years experience with SQL development;
• 1 year of experience with bash scripting;
• 1 year of experience with Git, CI/CD, and Docker;
• 1 year experience with data modeling;
• 1 year experience with CDC design patterns;
• 1 year experience with DAG workflows orchestration, including Apache Airflow, or Prefect; and
• 1 year experience deploying and running services in Cloud Big Data platforms such as BigQuery and Snowflake.
Pay Range: $169,541 to $175,000 Per Year.
