SUMMARY
The Executive Producer, Game Presentation will lead the creative development, production, and execution of game-night experiences across the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and Long Island Nets. Working closely with Marketing, this role will translate the strategy, audience priorities, and business objectives for each night into a cohesive live experience that builds fan affinity and creates homecourt advantage.
The Executive Producer will oversee each game-night show from concept through execution, partnering across Basketball Operations, Partnerships, Venue Operations, Creative, Content, Social, Fan Engagement, and external production partners. This role will lead the development of runs of show and scripts, in-bowl entertainment content, entertainment-team integration, and select external events, while overseeing the performance side of game presentation, including hosts, entertainment teams, mascots, game-night staff, and music staff.
The ideal candidate is an experienced live-event producer and people leader who combines strong creative judgment with operational discipline, collaborative instincts, and a deep understanding of how live experiences can build fan affinity, create homecourt advantage, and support business objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Lead the end-to-end production of game-night shows for the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and Long Island Nets.
• Translate each night’s strategy, objectives, audience priorities, and business goals into a cohesive live experience.
• Work with Marketing to establish the creative and production vision for pregame, in-game, halftime, timeout, quarter-break, postgame, and special-event programming.
• Oversee all show elements, including entertainment, music, lighting, pyrotechnics, fan interaction, promotions, contests, sponsored features, video content, live performers, and special presentations.
• Lead production meetings, rehearsals, game-night briefings, show calls, checklists, and live execution while maintaining high standards for quality, timing, safety, brand alignment, and operational readiness.
• Prepare for contingencies, including overtime, delays, injuries, technical issues, and postgame scenarios, and serve as a senior decision-maker and escalation point during live events.
• Lead the development and maintenance of game-night runs of show, scripts, cue sheets, show flows, templates, production standards, technical requirements, and operating procedures.
• Partner with Creative and Content to develop and integrate in-bowl entertainment content that advances the show strategy and brand narrative.
• Lead, develop, and manage the Game Presentation production team, including show callers, stage managers, game-night coordinators, and the performance side of Entertainment Teams.
• Oversee the integration of dance teams, hype teams, hosts, DJs, emcees, mascots, performers, and other entertainment talent into game-night programming, including scheduling, rehearsals, performance quality, and development.
• Manage budgets, resources, schedules, and competing priorities across multiple properties, and contribute to or lead production for select external events and large-scale fan experiences, including Nets Fest and Brooklyn Dribble.
• Lead post-game and after-action reviews, using fan feedback, audience engagement, executional quality, and other available insights to identify improvements and convert observations into action plans for future games.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
• 7–10+ years of experience producing live entertainment, sports, television, concerts, theater, or large-scale events; live basketball production experience is a plus.
• At least five years of management or supervisory experience in live-event production, including budget management.
• Demonstrated experience leading live shows from concept and scripting through rehearsal and real-time execution.
• Proven ability to develop runs of show, scripts, cue sheets, show flows, production plans, and contingency plans.
• Strong understanding of in-venue production technology, including video boards, LED systems, lighting, audio, replay, and show-control systems.
• Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and events simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure live environments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, entertainment management, sports management, theater, television production, or a related field preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive event-day hours across all sports properties.

COMPENSATION
$150,000 - $200,000 base salary

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works primarily in an office environment in Industry City, Brooklyn. You may be expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive event-day hours.
