As Clinical Research Director within our Global Development organization, you will be the medical expert leading the clinical development of R&D programs from early phases through Life Cycle Management. You will provide medical expertise to conduct clinical studies, collaborate with cross-functional teams under the leadership of the Global Project Head, and deliver development strategy while preparing for regulatory body interactions. Your strategic and operational focus will ensure the successful execution of clinical development programs that turn hope into reality for patients. Ready to get started?

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical development plan strategies, develop clinical sections of integrated development plans, and collaborate with other clinical experts to build consensus and coordinate action plans with stakeholders

• Lead, support, and oversee the execution of clinical development and study activities, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice, applicable laws, regulations, and SOPs

• Develop and review study protocols, informed consent forms, study committee charters, and other key clinical study documents

• Provide medical expertise and support for all activities related to clinical study conduct including IRB/HA questions, protocol training, data review, and medical information for study teams

• Ensure quality of clinical data through continuous data validation, blinded data review, and clinical case review for safety and efficacy data

• Review and contribute to clinical sections of regulatory documentation (IB, CTA, IND, DSUR, BLA/CTD) and collaborate with regulatory and safety teams on submissions and health authority interactions

• Participate in and author manuscripts and abstracts, establish collaborations with knowledge experts, and serve as clinical advisor to research teams

About you

Experience:

• Experience in clinical development in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, or healthcare institution with demonstrated medical expertise.

• Proven ability to lead clinical development programs and manage cross-functional teams.

• Experience with regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Very good communication skills (verbal and written) for interactions across functional areas and with regulatory agencies.

• Excellent problem-solving capability with demonstrated ability to challenge decisions and status quo with a risk-management approach.

• Very good teaching skills with ability to assist and train others.

• Ability to negotiate to ensure operational resources are available.

• Strong international and intercultural working skills with openness to apply new digital solutions

Education: Medical Doctor (MD) degree preferred (General Practitioner or specialist).

Languages: Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).

What we offer you:

A fixed salary over 12 months, supplemented by a short-term incentive as well as a collective variable compensation based on Sanofi Group results.

La fourchette salariale pour ce poste est:€76 000,00 - €101 333

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
