SUMMARY:
The Seasonal Internship is a part-time, paid program that runs from October 14th, 2026 to May 13th, 2027. Start and end dates can be flexible depending on your academic calendar.
The program is located at our Industry City Corporate Headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Summer Interns are expected to work about 20-40 hours per week with some days expected to be in office and other days remote. Each intern will be assigned to a specific department in which they will remain or rotate for the duration of the program.

Brooklyn Basketball Intern
Summary: The Brooklyn Basketball Seasonal Intern supports youth basketball programs and community initiatives for the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty. The role assists with on-court programming, customer service, content development, and day-to-day operations to help deliver engaging basketball experiences for participants of all ages.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the planning and execution of Brooklyn Basketball programs by assisting with on-court activities, event logistics, participant and parent engagement, and day-to-day operations. You’ll also contribute to content creation, program research, and new ideas that enhance the participant experience and strengthen the Brooklyn Basketball brand.
WHO YOU ARE: You are an energetic, team-oriented individual with a passion for basketball, youth development, and creating positive community experiences. You’re organized, adaptable, and comfortable engaging with young athletes, families, coaches, and community partners in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Communications Intern
Summary: The Communications Intern supports the promotion of properties including the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, New York Liberty, and more. This role provides hands-on experience across public relations, media relations, communications strategy, and events.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the Communications team by drafting press materials, monitoring and recapping media coverage, researching new PR opportunities, and contributing to communications strategies. You’ll also help coordinate media and provide on-site support for PR activations and events across our venues.
WHO YOU ARE: You are a strong and creative communicator with an interest in public relations, media, sports, and entertainment. Community Impact Intern
Summary: The Community Impact Intern supports our community and philanthropic efforts by helping create, implement, and amplify meaningful programs and initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience collaborating across teams and engaging with community organizations and stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support community activations, charitable giving, ticket distributions, and the Brooklyn Nets & New York Liberty Foundation’s 50/50 Raffle while helping track and communicate community impact efforts. You’ll also build relationships with community partners and collaborate with internal teams to bring impactful programs and initiatives to life.

Summary: The Content Production Intern supports the creation, organization, and execution of multimedia projects across BKSE properties, including the Brooklyn Nets, New York Liberty, and Barclays Center, with an emphasis on photography. This role provides hands-on experience in production coordination, game-day content, and post-production workflows.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support production scheduling, game-day photo operations, and on-site logistics while assisting with real-time content coordination and supplemental photography coverage. You’ll also help manage post-production workflows by organizing, delivering, and maintaining photo and multimedia assets.
WHO YOU ARE: You are an organized, collaborative, and adaptable individual with an interest in photography, content production, and the sports and entertainment industry. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing details, and supporting both on-site productions and behind-the-scenes workflows. You possess at least basic knowledge of camera equipment and editing software. You must be flexible to support nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Creative Design Intern
Summary: The Creative Design Intern supports the Entertainment Creative team in developing marketing and branding materials across Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. This role provides hands-on experience creating visual content for Barclays Center, Entertainment, Retail & Merchandise, BK Mag, and other creative initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will create and adapt marketing materials across print and digital platforms, prepare production-ready artwork, and contribute to presentations, mockups, and creative concepts. You’ll also support day-to-day design needs while managing multiple projects and collaborating with teams across the organization.
WHO YOU ARE: You are a creative, detail-oriented designer with a strong foundation in design principles and Adobe Creative Suite. You are passionate about entertainment, sports, culture, and visual storytelling. You’re organized, collaborative, curious, and eager to bring fresh ideas to a fast-paced creative environment.
Entertainment Marketing Intern
Summary: The Entertainment Marketing Intern supports marketing initiatives that promote entertainment programming and hospitality projects across Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. This role provides hands-on exposure to brand development, market research, campaign planning, creative development, and cross-functional collaboration.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support entertainment marketing campaigns through market and audience research, creative and email requests, promotional content, and event-based social media capture. You’ll also contribute to the development of new entertainment properties, from early research and competitive analysis through brand development and campaign rollout.
WHO YOU ARE: You are a curious, organized, and detail-oriented marketer with an interest in entertainment, culture, audience insights, and brand development. Finance Intern
Summary: The Finance Intern supports the FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams across a variety of financial operations and projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, accounting processes, and procurement in a dynamic business environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis while assisting with month-end and quarter-end accounting processes. You’ll also contribute to procurement and accounts payable activities, including invoice review, tracking, and processing.
WHO YOU ARE: You are an analytical, detail-oriented, and organized individual with an interest in finance, accounting, and business operations. You bring strong Excel, problem-solving, and communication skills and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Game Presentation Intern
Summary: The Game Presentation Intern supports the planning and execution of in-arena experiences for Brooklyn Nets home games and select events at Barclays Center. This role provides hands-on experience in gameday operations, entertainment programming, partnership activations, and behind-the-scenes show execution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the Game Presentation team with gameday staffing, stage management, talent logistics, props, giveaways, prizing, credentials, and other back-of-house operations. You’ll also assist with entertainment programming and partnership activations while helping ensure each gameday show runs efficiently and successfully.

Summary: The Global Partnerships Intern supports the Global Partnerships department in delivering impactful sponsorship programs and premium partner experiences across our sports and entertainment properties. This role provides hands-on exposure to partnership activation, client services, hospitality, and gameday operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the execution of corporate partnership agreements by tracking deliverables, coordinating activations and hospitality, and assisting with gameday fulfillment across Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center events. You’ll also collaborate across departments, develop partner recap materials, conduct industry research, and help ensure sponsorship assets are executed accurately and effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will provide administrative and operational support to the creative team while contributing to the development of social graphics, presentations, and event-related creative assets. The role also includes researching creative trends, managing asset tracking and timelines, and providing onsite support at select events as needed.

Marketing Intern
Summary: The Marketing Intern supports the Brooklyn Nets Marketing team in bringing seasonal programming and brand initiatives to life through activations, research, and project coordination. WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support daily media monitoring, research, statistical tracking, and the development of player bios, game notes, media guides, and other press materials. You’ll also assist with media operations at Brooklyn Nets games, practices, press conferences, and other PR-related events.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support the development and publishing of social media content across BKSE properties, including gameday content capture, highlight clipping, and real-time social execution. You’ll also track content performance, research emerging trends, and help identify new opportunities to engage audiences across social platforms.

Summary: The Ticketing Intern supports the day-to-day operations of the Ticketing and Premium Services departments while helping deliver exceptional experiences for members, clients, and internal stakeholders. This role provides hands-on experience across ticket fulfillment, account management, member engagement, reporting, and event operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support ticket fulfillment, account management, member communications, rewards programs, and gifting initiatives while maintaining accurate ticketing and customer data. You’ll also assist with reporting, event preparation, and gameday operations to help create seamless experiences for members and premium clients. Summary: The Ticket Strategy & Analytics Intern will provide support to the Ticket Strategy & Analytics and Ticket Operations teams. You will support the teams in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting ticket sales data to drive revenue growth, enhance the fan experience, and optimize ticketing operations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will support Ticket Analytics and Ticket Operations by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on ticket sales, attendance, and fan behavior to help drive data-informed pricing and revenue strategies. This role also includes contributing to dashboards, market research, and game-day ticketing support while identifying insights to improve performance, engagement, and overall fan experience.
WHO YOU ARE: You are studying analytics, data science, or a related field. You bring strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a solutions-oriented mindset to our fast-paced work environment. COMPENSATION
Our seasonal internship program compensation is $18 per hour. Interns are expected to work between 20-40 hours per week.

• All roles will require onsite work. You may be required to work hours at Barclays Center or the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center in addition to our headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
