This early career Engineering position allows you to grow your skills as a member of the System Simulation team - a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that runs Wind turbine Systems, Loads, Operability, Aerodynamics, Aeroelastics, Acoustics, Power Performance Simulations, Methods and Tools development, Integration and Testing.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support and drive product design by turbine system modeling in the fields of Loads, Operability, Aerodynamics, Aeroelastics, Acoustics or Power Performance

• Turbine system validation and test data analysis of wind turbines and components

• Support of component owners in component design and specifications

• Participate in FMEA and risk assessment and root cause analysis activities

• Resolve field service cases and support failure investigations in the installed base

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University

• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment

• Experience in one of more of the following areas demonstrated through course work, internships, or other experiences: Multibody SimulationWind Turbine Technology Experience is a strong plus but not requiredExperience in any of the following adjacent fields: Power Systems, Data Science, Systems Engineering, SW Development Methods such as Verification & Validation, version control

• Passionate about renewable energy and/or sustainability
